Specsavers has today officially opened it's 49th Irish store in Liffey Valley with the creation of 16 new jobs for the locality.
TV presenter and stylist, Darren Kennedy and former Miss World Rosanna Davison were on hand to officially launch the store and take part in the ribbon cutting.
FM104 radio kicked off the store opening celebrations by broadcasting news of the opening throughout the week and holding fantastic giveaways for designer frames each day.
The new store houses four dedicated testing rooms overseen by optometrist and Co-Store Director Emma Conroy together with three dispensing opticians, three ophthalmic opticians and seven highly trained optical assistants, ensuring the highest level of service is delivered. Specsavers stores, located at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre and Clondalkin now collectively provide employment for 25 people in Dublin.
Store Director Lisa Walsh said, "As Ireland's most trusted optician, Specsavers is passionate about providing affordable and fashionable eye care for everyone. Our new store, located in the vibrant Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, is fully equipped to deliver the best in eye testing technology to our customers. We look forward to welcoming everyone to the store to see for themselves the great range of glasses available, as well as availing of the on-site eye testing facilities."
